In between being a mum, wife and work I steal time to create cards and little added extras. I like to make gifts to match the card (most time the card comes first then the gift). If/when I get stuck for an idea I find chocolate and a good cup of tea stimulates the mind and awakens the Creative Goddess within. Oh what a life!

My favourite technique is watercolouring. I have a background in art and love painting and colouring, blending and mixing.

Creating charactors from cloth is also a love of mine. I've been selling dolls and bears for some years now, it's something I never get sick of. When you get an idea, put it to paper then to cloth, you sew it up, stuff it, add detail to the fingers, feet and body then comes the sculpting of the face and all of a sudden you have this little creature looking back at you, a smile comes to your face. Thats what it's all about the 'small pleasures' and you know someone else will smile too!
